Summary
Print, Rural scene with an artist after Edmond Adolphe Rudaux (b.1840). Print with watercolour on left-hand side of page showing an outdoor scene of two men and a woman by a cottage, which has a vine growing over it. A seated male appears to be an artist holding a palette in his left hand. A stooping male figure in blue trousers is observing a painting propped against a folded paint-box. The female figure is seated in the open window of the cottage engaging with the artist. Behind the seated artist is a case and folded umbrella. On the bottom left-hand side of the print reads: A.D.D., APRES / RUDAUX.
