Bookseller's stamp on verso of front free endpapers: 'Brentano's, New York.' Binding: Early twentieth-century half red morocco, red cloth over boards; sewn onto five raised bands; spines lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Facey Romford's hounds' and 'Surtees / Vol. I[-II]'; gilt stamped horseshoes and horse bits in remaining spine compartments; gilt top edges; purple endpapers; red ribbon marker in each vol. Binder's stamp on verso of front free endpapers: 'Morrell, Binder, London.'
