Oates Sept 1853' [= Mary Sarah Hibbert Oates (1834-1925), second wife of Rev. Wynter Thomas Blathwayt (1824-1909)] Binding: nineteenth-century half binding with pale brown leather and red marbled paper over boards; red book block edges; blind stamped decoration; marbled endpapers; red leather spine label with 'Lettres de Pascal' lettered in gold.
