Binding: Twentieth-century half blue morocco, blue cloth over boards; sewn onto four raised bands with one false band; gilt stamped Fairhaven crest at head of spine [i.e. Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)]; buff morocco spine labels, gilt lettered: 'Proceedings of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society' and 'Vol. XLII-XLIII / 1948-1949'; gilt top edge; marbled endpapers.
