1 vol. : ill. ; 30-37 cm. One of the books given to Wakefield Museum by Frank Green (1861-1954) in 1928; reacquired by the National Trust in 2024. Holding: three articles on Knole by H. Avray Tipping, 25 May 1912 p.772-88; 1 June 1912 p.826-40; 8 June 1912 p.862-72. Provenance: Twentieth-century bookplate on upper pastedown: "City of Wakefield Art Gallery and Museum, Reference Library", with "Frank Green Library" inscribed in black ink. Binding: Blue cloth; "Knole" in gilt on upper board.

Provenance

Part of a collection of books owned by Frank Green (1861-1954) who donated these to the Wakefield Museum in 1928. The collection was later transferred to Wakefield City Library in 1979. A selection of the books gifted to the National Trust for Treasurer’s House in 2024 by Wakefield Council.
