Binding: Twentieth-century half maroon morocco, brown cloth over boards; five raised bands; gilt panelled spine; gilt stamped Fairhaven crest at head of spine [i.e. Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)]; blue morocco spine label with gilt lettered title and author; gilt top edge; marbled endpapers.
