Provenance: Inscribed on upper flyleaf: 'Mary Drewe May 1920 B.H.' Previously the property of Mary Drewe (1900-1985), elder daughter of Julius Drewe and Frances Richardson Drewe and removed from Castle Drogo in 1954 when Mary left to set up a nursery school in Exmouth. Bequeathed to the current owner by Mary Drewe, and gifted to the National Trust for Castle Drogo, 2024.$inding: Publisher's purple limp reversed calf adhesive case binding with black-blocked illustration and lettering on upper cover; 'Yapp' edges.
