Provenance: Previously the property of Mary Drewe (1900-1985), elder daughter of Julius Drewe and Frances Richardson Drewe and removed from Castle Drogo in 1954 when Mary left to set up a nursery school in Exmouth. Bequeathed to the current owner by Mary Drewe, and gifted to the National Trust for Castle Drogo, 2024. Inscribed on upper flyleaf (verso): 'Drewe'. Binding: Publisher's red cloth adhesive case-binding with panel-stamp on upper cover and spine in white and black incorporating the title, edition and flowers.
