Manuscript inscription on second front free endpaper in vol. 2, pt. 2: "Cathne Barr." [i.e. Catherine Barr]. Binding: Nineteenth-century full straight-grained red morocco; blind rolls and fillets and gilt rolls to form an outer border; sewn onto recessed cords; gilt tooled spines, lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Daniel's rural sports.' and 'Vol. II. Part I[-II].'; gilt rolled corners of board edges; gilt rolled turn-ins; gilt textblock edges; grey endpapers.
