Provenance: Previously the property of Mary Drewe (1900-1985), elder daughter of Julius Drewe and Frances Richardson Drewe and removed from Castle Drogo in 1954 when Mary left to set up a nursery school in Exmouth. Bequeathed to the current owner by Mary Drewe, and gifted to the National Trust for Castle Drogo, 2024. Binding: maroon embossed cloth adhesive cloth binding with gold lettering on spine; red stained edges; black endpapers; bevelled boards.
