Provenance: v.1 inscribed "To my very dear niece Kate Stanley St. Peter's Day [crossed through and amended to "June 29th" in separate hand] 1838" [i.e. Catherine Maria Vaughan, née Stanley (1821-1899)]; all vols. inscribed "Stamford, Weybridge" [i.e. William Grey, 9th Earl of Stamford (1850-1910)]. Binding: nineteenth-century half maroon sheep, with purple cloth on boards; recessed cords; double gilt fillets to spine; gold lettered spine: Wordsworth's Poems.
