Endpaper inscribed "To Miss Stanley with Professor Sedgwick's kind regards April 15, 1841" [probably to Catherine Maria Vaughan, née Stanley (d.1899)]; with two stanzas from Byron's 'The Giaour' transcribed beneath. Also inscribed "Stamford, Weybridge" [i.e. William Grey, 9th Earl of Stamford (1850-1910)]. Binding: nineteenth-century half red morocco, with marbled paper on boards; five false bands; gilt tooled spine, lettered: Wordsworth's Greece.
