Binding: Nineteenth-century full calf; triple gilt fillet to form an outer border; five raised bands; spine gilt-tooled, red morocco spine label, gilt lettered: 'Edward Lascelles'; brown morocco spine label, gilt lettered: 'Vol. I'; gilt top edge; gilt rolled turn-ins; crimson endpapers.
