Allan Milton Oct 28th 1929"; on first free endpaper: "Eve Martin … Buxton"; afterwards "To the Earl of Stamford from E. Peter Lee. Christmas 1971". With scrap cut from envelope addressed to Lord Stamford inserted [i.e. Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976)]. Binding: twentieth-century green cloth, gold lettered.
