Binding: Late nineteenth-century full calf; triple gilt fillet to form an outer border; sewn onto five raised bands; gilt tooled spine; black morocco spine label: 'Gentleman in black'; double gilt fillet on board edges; gilt rolled turn-ins; gilt top edge. Binder's ink stamp on front free endpaper verso: 'Bound by Riviere & Son'.
