Binding: Twentieth-century half blue morocco, marbled paper over boards; spine lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Gra-Car Certosa di Pavia - 1937'; Fairhaven crest gilt-stamped at foot of spine; gilt top edge. Binder's gilt-stamp on front pastedown: 'Birdsall Northampton.'. Original front wrapper retained.
