Binding: Nineteenth-century half calf with blue cloth over boards, gilt fillet where the two materials meet; spine with five raised bands and gilt fillets; tan spine label 'Hugh Miller's Works' in second compartment; black title label 'Old Red Stone' in forth compartment; red sprinkled edges; marbled end papers.
