Bookseller's ticket on rear free endpaper: 'Robson & Co., 7 Hanover Street, W.1.' with ink-stamp 'Collated perfect' and manuscript initials: "F.A.C.B. 28/10/24". Binding: Twentieth-century full red morocco; triple gilt fillet to form an outer border; five false bands; spine gilt, lettered direct: 'British military costume Martens and Harris'; double gilt fillet on board edges; triple gilt fillet on turn-ins; gilt textblock edges; dark sea-green endpapers. Binder's stamp on front pastedown: 'Robson & Co. Ltd. W.1.'.
