Binding: nineteenth-century green morocco, thick and double thin gilt fillet borders; red morocco inlays to form centre panel, with brown corner circles, all gilt tooled; gilt lettered upper board; gilt tooled spine, board edges and turn-ins. Binder's stamp on endpaper: W. Townsend & Son, Sheffield.
