Binding: nineteenth-century prize binding of Merchant Taylors' School: full calf; double gilt fillet to form an outer border; gilt-stamped coat of arms of Merchant Taylors' School on upper boards; sewn onto three recessed cords; five false bands; gilt-tooled spines; red and green spine labels (gilt-lettered); gilt edge rolled; blind rolled turn-ins; marbled edges and endpapers.
