Scrapbook album of newspaper cuttings pasted onto all pages, compiled by Thomas Wodehouse Legh, 2nd Lord Newton, of Lyme Park, a diplomat and politician. The cuttings cover the period from Sept. 1904 to April 1906. It is mainly based on his political career activities, with attention to Lord Newton's speeches in House of Lords, including special focus on series of debates on taxation of betting.
