Summary
The National Trust joining form 1945, all printed in black, at the top the logo with oakleaf in the middle arched over the top 'THE NATIONAL TRUST' and underneath flat 'FOUNDED 1895' outlined in a single line border. Underneath; 'THE NATIONAL TRUST 1895-1945 OWNS over 500 places of Natural Beauty and Buildings of Historic or Architectural interest. The Trust is the only society in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with special statutory powers to hold such properties in permanent trust. It does not, however, receive any Government subsidy. ….'
