Summary

The second and inner of two full pages pulled from the middle of a note book, lined in blue, containing handwritten notes by William Jr. On the front page, of four, in blue pencil; 'B Hypothetical Conditions(fully) (1) Past (Apodosis - (Protasis - glad If he had been there, I should have been Si adfusset, gausus essem (2) Present (Apodosis) Imperf (Protasis) If he were here(now) I should be glad Si adesset, gauderem. (3) Future (Apodosis) Present (Protasis) be glad If he (were to come here/tomorrow) should Si iras adveriat, gaudeam All verbs in Subj.' All other three sides/pages are blank.

Straw collection bequeathed contents of the house to The National Trust on the death in 1990 of William Straw.
