xii, 384p., plates:. ill. ;. 16cm. Provenance: inscribed 'Catharine Woods. 1833 to Sarah Ward Jr a small token of affectionate remembrance. Nov. 8 1850 Matlock'. Binding: nineteenth-century publisher's blind-embossed leather binding, gold-embossed device on boards; gold-lettered and decorated on spine, all edges gilt. Both boards detached.

Provenance

Straw collection bequeathed contents of the house to The National Trust on the death in 1990 of William Straw.
