Binding: nineteenth-century gold-tooled full brown morocco; elaborate gilt border consisting of multiple fillets and different roll patterns (one floral); double gilt fillets along board edges; gilt floral roll pattern and fillets on turn-ins; gilt spine with floral stamps in panels; gilt title and date stamped directly onto spine; head of bookblock gilt, other sides untrimmed; binder's ink-stamp on verso of front free endpaper: 'Bound by C Lewis'.
