1v. ([50]p.) : music ; 23 x 29 cm (oblong 4to.). Book of music manuscript, chiefly for children, on eight printed staves per page. Some basic music theory in juvenile hand at the rear of volume reversed. Chiefly for harp. With two initial leaves of publisher's advertisements, partly trimmed: Apollo, No. 20, Cheapside & No.13, Hay market, London. Scribbles and doodles in juvenile hand. Provenance: inscriptions in juvenile hands: "Pierce Wynne Yorke" [i.e. Piers Wynne Yorke (1789-1837)], with further inscriptions at rear ; "Miss Yorke" ; "Lucy". Binding: early nineteenth-century mottled sheep; gilt fillet border. Rebacked.
