Provenance: flyleaf inscribed: "Charles Edwd Newton Michleover Oct 1875"; [separately beneath "Godfrey Mosley 1912" [i.e. Godfrey Mosley (1863-1945), m. 1923, Hilda Ethelfreda Harpur Crewe]. Binding: nineteenth-century half sheep, with marbled paper on boards; five false bands; gilt tooled and lettered spine. (Damage and loss to lower spine.)
