Provenance: Inscribed on imprint page inside a illustrated border "Lady Frances Anne Vane Tempest Augst. 24th 1817" [i.e. Frances Anne Vane Tempest (1800-1865), m. in 1819 Charles William Stewart (surname changed to Vane in 1821), Baron Stewart and 3rd Marquess of Londonderry from 1822]. Stamped on front cover with a marquess's coronet. Binding: Nineteenth-century full grained dark blue calf[?] case binding, blind and gilt panel stamped on covers, gilt marquess's coronet centre-piece, four false raised bands. Gilt tooling on spine, lettered direct in gilt on spine "Music manuscript". Gilt edges, decorative endpapers.
