Provenance: nineteenth-century crest bookplate, after 1831, with earl’s coronet: Lichfield [i.e. Thomas George Anson, 2nd Earl of Lichfield (1825-1892)]. Binding: publisher's quarter vellum, with grey cloth boards; centrepiece embossed cameo portrait; gold lettered spin.
