Twentieth-century armorial bookplate showing Vane-Tempest-Stewart arms marshalled with Chaplin, motto "Metuenda corolla draconis, with two supporters, all underneath a marquess's coronet with helmet and griffin passant crest, flanked by two badges, lettered in banner "Charles Stewart Henry Vane-Tempest-Stewart, 7th Marquess of Londonderry KG". Signed "W. & A. Mussett fecit; Lincoln's Inn, London". [i.e. Charles Vane-Tempest-Stewart, Viscount Castlereagh, 7th Marquess of Londonderry from 1915 (1878-1949)]. Binding: Nineteenth-century full green calf, double gilt rule forming a border, gilt lettering on spine. Gilt edges.
