Provenance: twentieth-century monogram bookplate with initial ‘E' [i.e. Edith, Marchioness of Londonderry, née Edith Helen Chaplin (1879-1959), m. in 1899 Charles 7th Marquess of Londonderry from 1915] against a rose inside a marquess's coronet and framed by a double L. Plate inscribed: Mount Stewart; endpaper dated: December 3rd 1932. Binding: publisher's quarter grey cloth, light grey cloth boards, gold lettered spine, upper cover label (loose, inserted in book).
