Provenance: twentieth-century monogram bookplate with initial ‘E' [i.e. Edith, Marchioness of Londonderry, née Edith Helen Chaplin (1879-1959), m. in 1899 Charles 7th Marquess of Londonderry from 1915] against a rose inside a marquess's coronet and framed by a double L; dated underneath '1918'. Binding: brown publisher's cloth, lettered in black, with pictorial.
