Sir Oswald Mosley, 2nd Bt of Ancoats (1785-1871) or his son Oswald Mosley (1804-1856)], motto "Mos legem regit". Binding: nineteenth-century full diced calf, single gilt fillet forming a border, four false raised bands. Gilt tooling on spine, brown leather spine labels lettered in gilt "Herodotus". Text-block sprinkled red, marbled endpapers.
