With manuscript marginal annotations, manicules and markings in sixteenth-century hand throughout. Manuscript inscriptions in sixteenth and seventeenth-century hands on verso of final blank leaf kk8, including: "Quisquis in hunc libru[m] furtivos interet vngues. Capistro pendens corpore pascat aves" and "Georg Wood his book 1642". Binding: English sixteenth-century blind-tooled calf; sewn on three raised bands; blind thin thick thin fillet border; blind-stamped oval strapwork centrepiece; blind two-way diagonal hatching adjacent to the spine at the head and foot of the boards, typical of Oxford bindings; rebacked in sheepskin; new endpapers. Pencil note on front fly-leaf: "Repaired 1975".
