Manuscript marginal annotations (sixteenth-century?) in Greek and Latin and underscoring of text in pencil throughout. Earlier sixteenth-century manuscript marginalia in brown or red ink are very faded or have been washed-out. Binding: seventeenth-century[?] full mottled calf (worn, some delamination); sewn onto three sewing supports with five raised bands; double gilt fillet border; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine (faded, title label missing). Burnished textblock edges. Marbled endpapers.
