Manuscript inscription at head of title page: "J Romm...L[?]". Manuscript musical notation with words "a ce comede, bibe, ciare, ue, de,", "Amice, Laua, comede, bibe, Solaciare[?], solue, vade[?]" and "Ad hunc modum" along margin on leaf C2r (p. 19); similar notation and words appear on the verso of leaf 73 of Johann Horst von Romberch's work on mnemonics, 'Congestorium artificiose memorie' (Venice, 1533). Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf; sewn onto three sewing supports with five raised bands; double gilt fillet border; blind roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine, with gilt fleuron stamp within gilt fillet panels; gilt title on brown goatskin label on spine. Red sprinkled textblock edges.
