Motto in Scottish Gaelic over portrait ("Tha mo cridhe's an tir nam beann" [My heart is in the land of mountains]). Binding: Twentieth-century polished full mottled calf, gilt tooling on spine. Green leather spine label lettered in gilt. Gilt-top. Bookbinder's ticket on lower pastedown: "W. Erskine Mayne, 3 Donegall Sq. W. Belfast".
