A new edition. vi,[2],855,[1]p.; 8vo. (19cm). Provenance: Inscribed: "To my dearest mother from her affect. son Henry Vane Tempest Novr. 13th 1870" [presented to Mary Cornelia Edwards (d. 1906), m. George Henry 5th Marquess of Londonderry in 1846, by her son HenryJohn Vane-Tempest (1854-1905)]. Binding: Nineteenth-century full polished tree calf, gilt greek-key fillet forming a border, gilt tooling on spine. Green leather spine label, lettered in gilt. Marbled endpapers and edges.
