Three sets of holes in the quires throughout for original stab-stitching. Provenance: manuscript initial on front fly-leaf: "M." [i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Manuscript inscriptions on title page: "Ex libris Guil. de Verdun in sasc.[?] Ad." and "Ex libris Johannis Graverolii Nemausaei" [i.e. Jean Graverol (1647-1718), of Nîmes; he left France at the revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685 and went into exile in Amsterdam and London]. Manuscript bibliographical notes and references in seventeenth or eighteenth-century hand (of Jean Graverol?) on title page (partially lost due to damage). Binding: seventeenth-century[?] full limp vellum; sewn onto three cords; two pairs of holes in fore-edge of covers for ties (missing).
