Binding: full red morocco sewn onto five raised bands; gold-tooled and ruled on boards; title gold-lettered direct onto spine, endpapers covered in red silk, gold tops. Binder's stamp on turn-in: Bound by Zaehnsdorff 1908. Original wrappers of limp brown leather over paper, gold-lettered, with small vignette self-portrait as centerpiece, included.
