Loosely inserted: printed card (25 x 28 cm) with cartoon: John T. Middlemore's New Year greetings to all who love Ulster'; cartoon featuring Sir Edward Carson rousing John Bull character. Provenance: inscribed "Eustace Gibbs 1900" [i.e. Eustace Lyle (1885-1911)]. Inscribed on cover: A.K. Gibbs Esq. [Uncertain indentification, only contemporary family member with these initials is Anstice Katherine Gibbs (1881-1963]. Binding: publisher's quarter red cloth, with illustrated paper on boards.
