Provenance: Inscribed on verso half-title: "To Philip Yorke Esqr [i.e. Philip Yorke II of Erddig (1849-1922), son of Simon Yorke III of Erddig and Victoria Mary Louisa Cust] with the best Christian wishes from L. W. Davies, May 1st, 1883". Binding: Nineteenth-century quarter red grained cloth on brown cloth, gilt lettered on spine.
