Provenance: Unidentified die-sinker shield: argent 3 birds gules with 3 annulets sable in chief gules. Chrest: fist or holding a plant. Motto: "Tuum est". Binding: Nineteenth-century full grained morocco, gilt panel-stamped, armorial centre-piece on both covers, gilt board edges and doublure. Recessed cords, gilt tooled on spine, lettered direct on spine. Gilt edges.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
