Binding: seventeenth-century full plain limp vellum; sewn on three double sewing supports; holes in fore-edge of covers for two pairs of alum tawed ties, stubs only remain; blind roll decoration at head and foot and along raised bands on spine; gilt title on brown sheepskin label on spine. Tear on rear cover, repaired with stitching. Manuscript waste as front and rear pastedowns: vellum, Latin text in fourteenth or fifteenth-century[?] hand surrounded by commentary in a different hand, paragraph marks in red and blue.
