Two leaves in Life of Virgil, are at the end of the Book, before the last leaf" [i.e. catalogue code and collation note by John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Manuscript numbers and ink scribbles on front fly-leaf. With some manuscript marginal annotations and underscoring of text. Binding: sixteenth-century full plain limp vellum; sewn on four tawed leather supports; holes in fore-edges of covers for two pairs of ties (missing).
