With pencil markings in the margins throughout. Binding: eighteenth-century sprinkled calf; gilt double fillet border; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine with stamp, roll and fillet decoration; gilt title on brown leather label on spine. Red sprinkled edges. Comb-marbled endpapers.
