xii, [2], 358, [10]p. ;. 18cm. With many unopened leaves. Provenance: pencil inscription "To Mrs. LCR Messel H.D. Balcombe Sept 1913" [i.e. to Maud Frances Messel, née Sambourne (1875-1960)]. With a letter laid in from Herbert Draper [i.e. Herbert Draper, English classicist painter (1863-1920)] "I came across the enclosed in a bookshop today & couldn't resist sending it to you. I wish for your sake it were a cut copy, but I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did ...". Binding: publisher's maroon cloth.
