On inside rear covers of vols. 1-4 are bookplates with crest of Julius C. Drew [i.e. Drewe], but upside down. Remaining vols. have boookplates on inside front covers, right side up. Loose in vol. 1, p. 47, is blank letter embossed with arms of Julius Drewe and headed `Culverden Castle, Tunbridge Wells', one of his previous homes. Binding: Half brown leather binding over marbled boards, with gold lettering and decorations on spine; raised bands. Marbled edges and endpapers. Front board of vol. 25 partially detached.
