Loosely inserted (v.6): two leaves of lined notepaper, headed: For "Mrs. Nicolson", with recipe for "Poulet Archiduc"; (appears to be incomplete.) Provenance: pastedown inscribed "V.N. / Stratford-on-Avon 24.9.20" [i.e. Vita [Sackville-West] Nicolson, 1892-1962]. Binding: publisher's quarter blue cloth, with grey paper sides; printed paper spine label. Upper cover label affixed with manuscript volume contents.
