Manuscript book number on front fly-leaf: "(42)". Manuscript price on rear pastedown: "8tt" [i.e. 8 livres tournois]. Binding: sixteenth- or seventeenth-century calf, sewn on six raised bands; triple blind fillet and single gilt fillet border; blind fillet on board edges; blind-tooled spine, with small gilt fleuron stamp in panels and gilt title stamped directly onto spine. Spine repaired in goatskin at head and foot. All edges gilt.
